Note: Most of the figures on this page were
inked on vellum by BWS and taped over the
whited-out original figures with non-yellowing
magic tape. This extensive reworking of the
art was done by Barry virtually overnight,
when he found the inking by Sid Greene to
be unacceptable.

This page also was cut apart along the upper edge of the last panel, then both page sections were taped to another blank page, and art was added all along the bottom of panel 5, all to correct the proportions of the art for reproduction. There are script corrections over white-out in a few balloons, and the woman's second balloon in the last panel was cut out and moved up to improve the placement. The cumulative effect of all these corrections, in conjunction with Windsor-Smith's dynamic style of figures' seeming to burst out from the surface of the page, and sometimes extending beyond panel borders, is to give this page an almost 3-D effect. This page also serves as a great example of how original art is altered, sometimes dramatically, with the sole aim of attaining the desired image for printing, a practice BWS has embraced throughout his career.
